TRADITIONS
In every town, city or village we visit, we have an activity that we partake in every time we visit that place. It could be to visit a particular spot, perform a particular act, sample some food or indeed just drink at least 1 pint of a particularly fine beer.
Below is our list of existing Traditions. If you visit these places, you have to take part in these too to fully enjoy the beer visit - so if you visit these places on a beer tour of your own, please send us the photos and films of you doing so and they could be featured on the site!
Whitstable
With ample coastal line to use, the Tradition for Whitstable is to acquire yourself a BBQ of some sort and prepare yourself some form of BBQ on the seaside. The best way we worked out to do this is to go to the Iceland store to pick up meat, buns and cheese (£2 for each item) and then head to Bugden's further along the High Street and ask for a disposable BBQ (not on the shelf) and grab some name-brand sauces. Then find a shop that sells some form of cheap spatula (we got ours for £1.50) and you're set to go!
This will take up 2-3 hours of the day, costs you only £20 (for 2 people, more people might cost more) and keeps you fully fed! Also, the beach allows you to drink ("responsibly") so sit and enjoy a sunset with your friends, a BBQ and some beers!

NICK-NACKS
If you visit somewhere, you need something memorable but useless to commemorate your day - thus, a nick-nack, and item with no use and minimal cost BUT that reminds you of an important time and the day you spent. Each one MUST cost under £1, and MUST be useless (well, relatively useless).
Below is our list of nick-nacks. If you can find the same as ours, please send us your version of our nick-nacks! Best photos get featured on the site!
Whitstable
Our whitstable nick-nack was the mighty Buddha, a £1 trinket showing a little golden effigy to the god of "peace, love, and obesity". We decided that these values are close to the hearts (and guts) of many a fine beer drinker. Tiny Golden Buddha, we salute thee.
